
ASSISTANCE LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS
Assistance League of Flintridge is a nonprofit service organization of volunteers committed to identifying and serving the needs of the community through philanthropic programs developed and administered by its members.
Assistance League of Flintridge formed in 1951 as a chapter of National Assistance League®, which created its first chapter in 1919. Assistance League now links more than 24,000 community volunteers through more than 115 chapters in 26 states. Each chapter develops and administers programs to meet the needs of their specific communities.
Assistance League of Flintridge supports and administers seven philanthropies in La Cañada Flintridge and has two auxiliary organizations whose members also devote their efforts to effective community service:
