SS2010

Since 1978 Assistance League of Flintridge has proudly administered summer school programs open to all La Cañada Flintridge students entering grades 1-8 in the fall. More than 80 classes are offered at La Canada Elementary for grades 1-6 and La Cañada High School for grades 7-8. Class size is limited to 25 students. Many of the teachers are also employed at LCUSD schools. The remainder are recruited from school districts surrounding La Cañada Flintridge or have experience in local private schools. All teachers have an extensive background in their fields of expertise.

Many Fun Classes

Assistance League of Flintridge Summer School classes are designed to present educational opportunities that are challenging, enriching, and creative. Many classes expose students to subjects not usually part of the academic curriculum of the normal school year. Among the more than 50 classes presented at the grades 1-6 level are: Art for the Masters, Here's the Scoop, Science for the Curious, Band, and Growing Green.
For grades 7-8 the following classes are among more than 30 offered: Video Production, Robotics, Speech & Debate, Photoshop Elements, Math Enrichment, Writing Workshop and Tennis.
